Job Title: Advisor - Financial ManagementJob DescriptionThis role serves as a Financial Expert Advisor within a healthcare organization, guiding strategic financial decisions and driving performance improvement across clinical and administrative areas. Responsibilities- Provide expert financial guidance and consultation to executives, clinical teams, and finance departments to support informed decision-making.
- Support and enhance financial planning processes, including the development and monitoring of financial performance improvement initiatives.
- Analyze financial, operational, and clinical data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that inform strategic and operational decisions.
- Prepare and present executive-level reports and dashboards that clearly communicate costs, revenues, performance measures, and key financial insights.
- Partner with organizational leadership to identify growth opportunities, revenue enhancement strategies, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Advise leaders on the financial impacts of business decisions, including new programs, capital investments, and operational changes.
- Collaborate on long-range financial planning, including multi-year financial projections and strategic planning efforts.
- Participate in and support the annual budgeting process, including the development, review, and refinement of departmental and organizational budgets.
- Lead projects and initiatives within the financial specialization, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals.
- Influence, guide, and develop cross-functional teams without direct reporting lines, fostering collaboration and building financial acumen across the organization.
- Apply deep expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting to support strategic planning, scenario analysis, and risk assessment.
- Ensure alignment with financial reporting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements in collaboration with finance and accounting teams.
Essential Skills- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6-8+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, internal controls, and audit processes.
- Prior experience in a hospital, health system, or regulated industry environment.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, regulatory frameworks, and financial operations.
- Deep expertise in financial modeling, financial analysis, and financial forecasting.
- Strong understanding of healthcare economics and revenue cycle management.
- Proficiency in core finance and accounting disciplines, including general ledger management and reconciliation.
- Ability to interpret and analyze complex financial, operational, and clinical data.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to executive and non-financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Master's Degree such as an MBA, MHA, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Professional certification such as CPA or CMA, or a similar credential, is preferred.
- Experience working within large, complex healthcare systems or multi-entity organizations.
- Experience supporting performance improvement initiatives and long-range financial planning.
- Exposure to healthcare-specific financial systems, reporting tools, and revenue cycle platforms.
- Interest in ongoing professional growth through advanced training, leadership development, and cross-functional learning opportunities.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $114192.00 - $197912.00/yr.
