You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Torrance, CA location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the development of advanced systems that power innovative solutions in the aerospace industry. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of technology and industry solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Mechanical systems and equipment integration and oversight
  • Support system architecture trades
  • Requirement's validation / verification (V&V) development
  • Qualification Verification plan development and execution including formal qualification
  • Project Schedule and Milestone development/management
  • Estimating and budget preparation and analysis
  • Risk/opportunity development and management
  • Project execution and performance management


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • 4 years of experience in systems engineering and project leadership.
  • Comprehensive knowledge in systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.


WE VALUE
  • Create relevant action plans that bring value to our internal or external customers
  • Requirements management using DOORS or DOORS NG
  • Test experience including developing test plans, writing test procedures, overseeing test execution, experience with acceptance test procedures, experience with DO- 160 and/or MIL-STD 810 environmental testing
  • Some experience in electromechanical engineering, particularly thermal management systems
  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events
  • Ability to convey complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience


The annual base salary range for this position is $106,000 - $133,000 . Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
