RN Nurse Manager of our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Torrance, CA. This is a full-time leadership position. Be a part of our distinguished team at our Magnet Designated hospital dedicated to excellence in patient care. Our high acuity, 28-bed ICU works with Medical, Surgical, Cardiovascular and Neurological patients.

  • This Nurse Manager role has an Assistant Nurse Manager to partner with as Leaders.


Accountable for the delivery of high quality nursing care and for the administrative management of multiple nursing units and/or FTE's over 80 on a 24 hour basis. Fulfills all duties and responsibilities associated with the unit manager position. Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics), and participates in related continuing education.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Bachelor's in progress.
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NNR) - if employed in L&D, NICU, Nursery, or Postpartum upon hire.
  • 3 years of recent clinical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Nursing Management experience.
  • Strong background working as a RN in Critical Care.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
