As an Advanced Software Developer on the Clinical Research Informatics & Technology (CRIT) team, you'll build scalable, high-impact systems that support clinical research operations, accelerate clinical discoveries, collaborating with experts to transform data into innovation, and improve outcomes for patients worldwide.
Role Overview- Lead full lifecycle development including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment of applications
- Analyze functional requirements and system architecture to design scalable, efficient solutions
- Plan, coordinate, and provide estimates for complex software development projects
- Design technical specifications including data flows, storage, interfaces, and system architecture
- Develop robust applications and integrations with enterprise systems and databases
- Define and execute system, integration, and enterprise-wide testing strategies
- Manage implementation of new systems, upgrades, and enhancements into production environments
- Provide production support, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance improvements
- Mentor junior developers and independently manage projects with minimal oversight
Key Qualifications - 2-4 years of professional software development experience (4-7 years preferred)
- Experience with C#, ASP.NET, React, and JavaScript (Python experience a plus)
- Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and/or Postgres and relational database design
- Experience developing and maintaining production applications and web services in both on prem and cloud environments (AWS)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and version control tools (e.g., Git, TFS)
- Experience and/or willingness to learn/leverage AI technologies as part of the application development process

Additional Information: - Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday with additional flexibility as needed (weekends and evenings as projects require)
- Location: Hybrid - on-site at 633 3rd Avenue one day per week or as needed
- Reporting to: Clinical Research Informatics & Technology Leadership
