Job Description

As an Advanced Project Engineer, you will lead the project engineering execution of complex aerospace hardware development programs, serving as the primary technical focal point for scope, schedule, cost, and quality performance.

In this role, you will drive key project decisions while collaborating with technical experts, engineering leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders across the organization. Your primary work assignments will be focused on hardware development projects where you will lead the hardware design, verification and validation activities for display systems, and products supporting the Anthem, Epic, and Apex flight deck platforms.

You will have the opportunity to work with global engineering teams and customers to deliver innovative aerospace solutions while ensuring successful program execution in a highly regulated environment.

You will report to the Director of Engineering and work from our Deer Valley, Arizona site on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office / 2 days remote).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead avionics engineering activities for new product development and sustaining projects
  • Own engineering scope, planning, execution, risk management, and delivery of program milestones.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including systems, hardware, software
  • Drive requirements development, technical trade studies, design reviews, verification activities, and problem resolution.
  • Monitor and manage project cost, schedule, resource utilization, and technical performance.
  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and technical innovation.


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading engineering projects or work packages with responsibility for technical execution, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Knowledge of engineering development processes, requirements management, verification and validation, and configuration management.
