Full Job Description
Position Summary

Advanced Processing Engineer is to lead advanced machining, automation, and process development across our Performance Pneumatics platform. This is a hands-on working manager role for a technical leader who can build capability, improve manufacturing performance, and turn innovative ideas into practical, measurable results. The role will support multiple sites and partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize high-tolerance CNC machining, tooling, fixturing, and process capability to improve quality, cycle time, yield, and cost.
  • Lead automation and controls initiatives, including robotics, PLC/HMI, vision systems, motion control, and Industry 4.0 solutions.
  • Identify and deploy advanced manufacturing technologies that improve flexibility, productivity, safety, and competitiveness.
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, root-cause analysis, SPC, and DOE methods to reduce waste and improve process performance.
  • Establish standard processes, best practices, and technical playbooks that can be leveraged across sites.
  • Lead capital equipment and process upgrade projects from business case through installation, commissioning, training, and validation.
  • Maintain and improve manufacturing documentation, including SOPs, routings, CNC programs, control plans, and change controls.
  • Provide shop-floor technical support, troubleshoot process and equipment issues, and lead trials to improve OEE, scrap, and rework.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams and mentor engineers, technicians, and site-level manufacturing resources.
  • Ensure new processes and equipment meet safety, ergonomic, regulatory, and quality system requirements.


Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, operations, or a related technical discipline.
  • Hands-on experience with CNC machining, programming, tooling, fixturing, and process improvement.
  • Experience with industrial automation and controls, including PLC/HMI, robotics, vision, or motion systems.
  • Demonstrated success leading Lean, continuous improvement, or productivity initiatives with measurable results.
  • Strong project leadership skills, including experience supporting equipment installation, commissioning, and validation.
  • Proficiency with data analysis and statistical methods such as SPC, DOE, or similar tools.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and organizational levels.
  • Experience in multi-site or global manufacturing environments.
  • Advanced degree, PE, PMP, Lean Six Sigma certification, additive manufacturing, GD&T, measurement systems, or ISO quality systems experience.


Leadership Scope
This is a working manager role with significant cross-functional influence. The role will lead project teams, mentor technical resources, and help build advanced processing capability across the platform. Direct reporting responsibilities may evolve as the function grows.

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $127,200.00 - $190,800.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
