Position Summary:The
Medical College of Wisconsin's Division of Cardiology is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide specialty medical care in
Electrophysiology (EP) within the
Hybrid (Outpatient & Inpatient) settings.
This position is located at
Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration, patient care, patient safety, research, quality improvement, and teaching. The APP will provide a broad range of diagnostic & therapeutic services for the patients of the blended services (inpatient & outpatient).

Schedule:- Full time, 1.0 fte
- Hours may vary, and will range from Monday - Friday, 7 am - 5 pm, with occasional additional hours based on clinical needs. Requires flexibility to work evening &/or weekend hours in the future based on business needs.

Qualifications: Preferred: - NP or PA experience
- Outpatient, inpatient, adult care, acute care, &/or critical care Cardiology PA, NP, &/or RN experience strongly preferred
- Adult Care or Acute Care NP certification
Minimum Education: - Advanced Practice Nurse: Master's Degree or higher in Nursing from a nationally accredited organization.
- Physician Assistant: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies from an ARC-PA-accredited organization.
Minimum Requirements:Advanced Practice Nurse/ Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner - Wisconsin Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber License
- Certification Requirements:
- Nurse Practitioner Certification from a nationally accredited professional nursing organization
- BLS
- ACLS
- CITI Certification to be completed within 90 days of hire
Physician Assistant - Wisconsin Physician Assistant License
- Certification Requirements:
- Certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
