Responsibilities

Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider - Pulmonology/Critical Care

Location: Lewisburg, PA

Employment Type: Full-Time

What You'll Champion:
  • Join a collaborative Pulmonary/Critical Care team consisting of 3 physicians and 5 APPs, with physician support always available.
  • Work 14 shifts per month (7 PM to 7 AM) with no call responsibilities.
  • Receive a $15,000 night shift stipend in addition to a competitive compensation package.
  • Manage a variety of inpatient critical care responsibilities including ICU admissions, patient management, order entry, documentation, procedures, and collaboration with physicians.
  • Practice in an 11-bed ICU within a lower-acuity community hospital, offering a balanced critical care environment.
  • Opportunity to perform procedures such as central line placement, with support services in place including in-house anesthesia for intubations.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:
  • Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or
  • Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required
  • Masters Degree Physician Assistant Preferred

Work Experience:
  • 1 year Required

Licenses:
  • Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required and
  • Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:
  • BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required and
  • Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required and
  • Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required or
