Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Cardiology & Electrophysiology

Florida Heart & Vascular is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing cardiovascular team serving Broward County.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work across both outpatient clinic and hospital settings while gaining exposure to a broad range of cardiovascular subspecialties, including electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, cardiac imaging, diagnostics, and preventive cardiology. Providers work alongside experienced cardiologists and APPs in a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional cardiovascular care.

Whether you're an experienced APP or a new graduate looking to build a career in cardiology, this role offers mentorship, hands-on experience, and long-term professional growth within a thriving cardiovascular practice.
What You'll Do
  • Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions in both clinic and hospital settings
  • Conduct new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, hospital rounding, and cardiovascular consults
  • Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including EKGs, laboratory studies, cardiac imaging, and stress testing
  • Develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising cardiologists
  • Manage medications and provide patient and family education
  • Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and referring providers
  • Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
