Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Cardiology & ElectrophysiologyFlorida Heart & Vascular is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing cardiovascular team serving Broward County.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work across both outpatient clinic and hospital settings while gaining exposure to a broad range of cardiovascular subspecialties, including electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, cardiac imaging, diagnostics, and preventive cardiology. Providers work alongside experienced cardiologists and APPs in a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional cardiovascular care.

What You'll Do- Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions in both clinic and hospital settings
- Conduct new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, hospital rounding, and cardiovascular consults
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including EKGs, laboratory studies, cardiac imaging, and stress testing
- Develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising cardiologists
- Manage medications and provide patient and family education
- Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and referring providers
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation

Qualifications- Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active Florida license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Cardiology experience preferred but not required
- New Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong interest in cardiovascular medicine
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Schedule- Monday-Friday primary schedule
- Approximately one weekend of call coverage per month
