The Seattle Children's APP Fellowship is a 12-month intensive program designed to transition newly graduated ARNPs and PAs into complex, highly collaborative pediatric practice. Through precepted clinical rotations, multidisciplinary didactics, and simulation training, fellows gain the skills necessary to lead in a premier tertiary care center.
The Fellowship Experience- Clinical Mastery: Assume increasing responsibility for patient management, from diagnostics to treatment planning.
- Diverse Rotations: 4-5 months of inpatient service followed by specialized clinical rotations.
- Collaborative Leadership: Work alongside attending physicians and specialists while contributing to quality improvement and research.

Important Dates: January 2027 cohort
- Application Deadline: August 17,2026
- Start Date: January 19, 2027
- Requirement: Candidates must be eligible to provide proof of board certification 12-14 weeks prior to the start date.
Educational & Clinical Background- Nurse Practitioner: Master's or higher in Nursing (Pediatric or Family focus). Minimum 1 year clinical experience; acute care peds preferred.
- Physician Assistant: Graduate of an accredited PA program. Minimum 1 year healthcare experience (pediatric focus preferred).
Licensure & Certification- State: Active, unencumbered WA State license (ARNP or PA).
- National: Current Board Certification
- Registration: Active DEA registration and BLS certification.
Credentialing & Privileges- Status: Must obtain and maintain Allied Health Provider privileges at Seattle Children's Hospital.
- Termination: Clinical privileges are tied to employment status. For Fellows, privileges expire at the end of the fellowship term unless a permanent position is accepted.
Compensation Range$132,321 per year
*This position is eligible for relocation for qualified candidates.*
Salary InformationThis compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
