Job DescriptionThe Director, Urgent Care Operations is responsible for the continuous, effective operations across our seven (7) regional urgent care centers, managing the business, staff, and non-clinical daily functions. Works with Senor Director, Medical Director, front line managers and staff to improve the quality of care, strengthen the financial performance of the group practice offices, and to improve patient, physician, and employee satisfaction. In conjunction with medical staff leadership, including Senior Medical Director, Physician Department Chairs and Physician Team Leaders, develops and implements business plans for existing and future departments and programs. Leads by example. Works with the team to reduce infrastructure and to promote high value performance. This is a management position.

Required Experience- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Health or other related field is required; Master's degree in health, nursing, business, public administration or related field is preferred.
- Minimum five years progressive experience in management of physician practices, clinics, or hospital appropriate departments with at least 2 to 3 years specifically overseeing multiple medical clinics or urgent care sites.
- Formal lean training preferred.
- Experience with managing and motivating effective work teams.
- Working knowledge of budgeting, contract negotiations, business plan development, and practice management/electronic health records systems preferred.
- Regulatory compliance experience, adhering to HIPAA, OSHA, labor laws and healthcare safety guidelines.
- Experience with leading and implementing projects.
- Formal lean training preferred.
- High proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, practice management software, and data analytics tools
