Job Description:
Client is seeking a qualified test engineer for the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Validation department at the Chelsea Proving Ground (CPG) Facility.
The Vehicle Validation engineer will be responsible for executing test procedures to validate ADAS performance on Client and competitive benchmark vehicles.

The test engineer will assist with driving vehicles, collecting and processing data, and compiling results
Position Requirements Basic Qualifications:
Able to work independently and in a team
Hands-on able to drive vehicles, clean driving record, able to obtain heavy truck certifications (e.g. CDL), install instrumentation, remove camo, etc.
Understand vehicle EE CAN communication CDA/Diagnostic tool capable
Experience with vehicle electrical troubleshooting - connecting to vehicles, clearing faults, reset/flash modules
Familiar with ADAS features from a driver/customer level
Experience on data acquisition systems (analogue and digital data filtering and logging) and post processing tool (i.e.Matlab, labview)
Ability to support 1st and 2nd shifts
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year + ADAS or Automotive Engineering work experience
Vehicle CAN -- working depth (Canalyzer or other CAN tools)
Vehicle testing experience
Completing DVP&R, Following Test Procedures Ground Truth instrumentation use, Cameras, dGPS systems, etc.
