Please review the following job description:The role reports to the VP, Financial Solutions in the Life Reinsurance division. Responsibilities include pricing and preparing life reinsurance quotations, experience studies, quarterly reporting and supporting the execution of the overall life reinsurance business development strategy. The majority of work will be for US based insurance companies and international reinsurance partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities:- Price YRT, Coinsurance, Longevity, and Financial Reinsurance deals
- Modernize and enhance valuation systems
- Develop and refine experience studies and best practices
- Strengthen mortality assumptions and projection models
- Support in-force analysis and existing client needs
- Provide technical expertise across traditional and structured reinsurance
- Partner with insurers and reinsurers on pricing and quotations
- Mentor actuarial students and support exam progression
Qualifications:- Degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Finance, or related field
- FSA (or career ASA)
- 3+ years in life insurance/reinsurance with strong product and pricing experience
- GGY Axis (2+ years)
- Advanced Excel/Access; familiarity with R, Python, SQL, or similar tools
- Knowledge of US/Canadian (IFRS) reporting and reinsurance frameworks (asset)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
