Full Job Description
The Actuarial Analyst 2, Analytics/Forecasting analyzes and forecasts financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions. You will establish metrics, provide data analyses, and work directly to support business intelligence. You will evaluate industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization's short, medium and long-term financial and competitive position.

The Actuarial Analyst 2, Analytics/Forecasting will report to the Associate Director, Actuarial Analytics/Forecasting. You will ensure data integrity by developing and executing necessary processes and controls around the flow of data. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs/issues, troubleshoot problems, conduct root cause analysis, and develop cost effective resolutions for data anomalies. You will understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Successful completion of at least 3 actuarial exams

  • Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in SAS, SQL, or Python

  • Comfort in communicating technical concepts to non-actuarial audiences

  • Experience with pharmacy claims

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$80,900 - $110,300 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
