Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in acoustic design and execution on consumer electronic products.
Preferred qualifications:- Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- 6 years of experience leading acoustic design and execution for consumer electronics.
- Experience leading acoustic solutions for mobile phone, wearable, or hearable products.
- Experience with acoustic test tools: SoundCheck, Klippel, Audio Precision, Polytec, etc, and simulation tools: Ansys, COMSOL, Abaqus, Ares, etc.
- Experience shipping end-to-end acoustic solutions, from product concept through production.

Responsibilities- Lead the design and implementation of speakers and mics in new consumer electronic devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional design, engineering, product, operations teams to achieve acoustic solutions balancing ambitious performance, space, cost, and user experience goals.
- Collaborate with vendors and technology partners to scope new components and technologies.
- Conduct acoustic simulations (lumped sum and finite element methods) and lab testing of acoustic modules and products to validate performance.
- Support module and product factories to define and guide assembly, test, and failure analysis efforts.
