Manage Accounts Payable for both Integrated and non-integrated
Position Summary
Lead and manage the Accounts Payable (AP) function by delivering best-in-class service while optimizing departmental processes, controls, and systems. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, efficiency, and accuracy, and reduce transactional processing costs through data-driven, metrics-based performance management. Oversee system and process integration efforts within a shared services or centralized environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to the Accounts Payable team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on service excellence and continuous improvement.
Establish and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure both qualitative and quantitative performance expectations are consistently achieved.
Serve as the primary owner of AP business processes, ensuring standardization, scalability, and alignment with organizational objectives.
Identify, quantify, and resolve Accounts Payable discrepancies and issues to ensure accurate and timely month-end close.
Support the development of the department's annual budget and perform monthly budget-to-actual reviews in partnership with Senior Finance/Accounting leadership.
Act as the Accounts Payable subject matter expert (SME), leading and participating in cross-functional projects, including:
Process improvement and automation initiatives
System enhancements and integrations
Subsidiary onboarding and centralization efforts
Regulatory and compliance implementations
Lead and support SOX compliance activities, including control design, documentation, testing, and remediation efforts related to Accounts Payable processes.
Oversee the corporate card program, ensuring proper governance, compliance with company policies, timely reconciliations, and accurate expense reporting.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and improve overall process efficiency.
Basic Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting and 5 years of experience, OR High School Diploma/GED and 9 years of experience in an Accounts Payable environment.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable environment, including supervisory experience and demonstrated leadership capabilities.
3 years of management experience.
Compensation
The compensation range for this position is $105,000.00 - $125,000.00 annually. This position will be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
