Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; advanced degree or CPA/CFA/MBA preferred
• 7-10 years of finance experience, including mortgage lending or financial services
• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing a finance team
• Strong background in financial analysis, reporting, and compliance
• Ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• High level of integrity and commitment to mission-driven work

Responsibilities

• Lead all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and reporting
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and investment activities to support lending and program initiatives
• Prepare and present financial reports and insights to leadership, Board members, and external stakeholders
• Oversee audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting
• Guide financial strategy for real estate and lending activities, including complex project analysis
• Ensure strong internal controls, policy compliance, and financial record integrity
• Supervise and develop a high-performing finance team
• Partner cross-functionally to evaluate major investments, programs, and organizational decisions
