The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for the accounts payable team for Canada and the United States. This role provides support to team members as well as external stakeholders involved in the overall accounts payable function. The person will support the AP team to ensure continuous improvement and free up capacity for the Director of Administrative Services.

- Salary scale 006: $: 100 900 to $126 100 (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and skills related to the position.)
What you9ll be responsible for each day:
- Oversee the complete management of the accounts payable cycle
- Produce and analyze the team9s performance results
- Support team members in their professional development
- Ensure compliance with payment rules while maintaining efficiency standards
- Coordinate team communications and action plans to avoid service interruptions with suppliers and operational or financial impacts
- Act as a resource person in the implementation, application, and compliance with the organization9s P2P (Procure-to-Pay) policies and procedures
- Contribute to the development of communication strategies for suppliers when policies and/or procedures change
- Understand, apply, and comply with accounting rules related to accounts payable transactions and their impact on financial statements
- Participate in resolving issues related to accounts payable systems and provide expertise or necessary collaboration
- Assist the department director in developing tools and work methods aimed at improving operational and financial efficiency
- Ensure follow-up with external auditors
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team
The individual who will own this role:
- Bachelor9s degree in administration or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in cost analysis or manufacturing finance
- Strong analytical skills and good knowledge of the integrated SAP system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written
- Ability to work in a computerized and constantly evolving environment
