Qualifications

• Working toward or recently qualified CPA is preferred.
• 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience required.
• Foundational knowledge of technical accounting or SEC reporting is essential.
• Experience or internship at a Big Four firm or financial institution preferred.
• Familiarity with U.S. GAAP and exposure to SEC reporting is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills are necessary.
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn and strong attention to detail are imperative.

Responsibilities

• Track new and emerging accounting standards and assess their impact on financial statements.
• Draft and maintain the firm's accounting policy documentation.
• Gather information and prepare materials for technical accounting guidance.
• Assist in the preparation of SEC filings like Form 10-K and 10-Q.
• Support analysis of various transactions including revenue recognition and investments.
• Coordinate with finance teams on accounting matters and collaborate effectively.
• Compile documentation for external auditors and assist in new accounting standards implementation.
