Location Note: While this is a remote position, we are currently unable to hire candidates residing in Quebec, Alberta, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba at this time.

The Accounting Manager leads a team of accounting professionals responsible for core accounting processes across multiple global entities. This role delivers full process leadership, ensures compliance and accuracy of financial records, drives operational efficiencies, and supports broader company objectives in a multi-entity, remote/global environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Leads, develops, and performance-manages a team of accountants/analysts while fostering an ownership mindset to produce timely and accurate financial reports.
  • Owns end-to-end accounting processes (AP, AR, general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting) across global entities, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal controls.
  • Primary liaison between the organization and external auditors, preparing necessary documentation and managing the audit process.
  • Drives process improvements, automations, and cross-functional initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Provides strategic insights, mentors team members, and influences stakeholders on accounting matters in a remote/global setting.
  • Oversees multi-entity consolidations, tax compliance support, and ad-hoc projects.
  • Builds team capabilities through training, knowledge sharing, and high-impact contributions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
  • 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a people-management or team-lead role.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, advanced Excel, and financial reporting tools; experience in multi-entity/global operations required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project-management skills for remote, cross-cultural, global environments.


Pay Transparency Statement:

USA Pay Range: $77,911 USD - $105,180 USD
