Salary range: $107,821.50 - $145,875.46 per year

How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned accounting area(s) of the organization which is to process transactions, provide analysis and reporting, and to resolve escalated issues. Ensure transactions and the organization's requests are handled in a manner that achieves the optimal balance between cost/efficiency and service delivery.
  • Develop, implement and continuously improve policies, procedures, and processes, templates necessary to support operations. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements as well as internal control standards. Examine operational policies and make informed recommendations for process improvement and regulatory compliance. Resolve escalated or complex Associate issues that require managerial intervention or involve other process areas.
  • Report on Service Level Agreement metrics in order to maximize effectiveness and efficiency of process area. Emphasize key performance indicators and metrics for general accounting. Ensure delivery of business results by meeting or exceeding all contractual service level agreements and managing General Accounting costs.
  • Monitor regulatory environment to stay abreast of compliance requirements and to propose internal control standards. Make recommendations for policy, plan and process modifications, implementing approved changes.
  • Manage Accounting reporting requirements of assigned area(s). Utilize reporting tools to gain operational insight in order to identify and manage problems and propose resolutions.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Accountant preferred. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.


Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
