GENERAL SUMMARY: As our Accounts Receiveable leader, you will oversee collections, credit risk management, cash application, customer management, full O2C function, reporting, and team leadership while ensuring strict compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, develop, and mentor a team of 5 Credit and AR Specialists. Ensure performance goals, budgets, and departmental milestones are consistently met or exceeded.
- Credit & Risk Strategy: Evaluate & monitor credit risk for the organization by managing customer credit evaluations and limits. Develop and execute effective collection strategies to maintain strong customer relationships while reducing late payments and bad debt.
- Executive Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports and cash projections to senior leadership and the board, providing key insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Operational Excellence: Drive continuous process improvement, policy development, and operational efficiency within credit and collections.
- Specialized Risk & Compliance: Manage EDC insurance programs, support key account onboarding, and ensure accurate customer documentation and tax compliance across both the U.S. and Canada.
- Ad Hoc Leadership: Respond to ad hoc reporting and management requests as required to support the broader finance function.
Qualifications- Experience: 7+ years in Credit/Collections, with 3+ years successfully managing an AR team.
- Cross-Border Knowledge: Deep understanding of customer documentation and tax compliance across the U.S. and Canada.
- Specialized Skills: Proven experience managing, EDC insurance programs or similar export credit insurance.
- Education: CPA is preferred
- Travel: Occasional U.S. travel is required
