Join our Corporate Cost Accounting department as a key player in maintaining, analyzing, and reporting on capital assets within the Corporate Group. Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Cost Accounting, this role offers a dynamic environment where your expertise will drive impactful financial insights.
What You'll Do- Monitor Capital Projects: Oversee capital projects and perform month-end close activities using PowerPlan
- Lease Management: Set up and review new corporate leases within PowerPlan
- Journal Entries & Reconciliations: Prepare monthly capital asset journal entries and reconciliations
- Policy Communication: Understand and effectively communicate capital accounting policies
- Power BI Maintenance: Conduct monthly maintenance of Power BI reports.
- Cost Analysis: Analyze corporate costs, including audit fees
- Project Support: Assist in business development project set-up
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process
- Data Management: Assist in cost center master data and internal order set-up
- Special Projects: Complete special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed
Minimum Qualifications- Undergraduate degree
- Minimum of four years' progressive, related experience
- Professional accounting designation (CPA) required
Preferred Qualifications- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with counterparts in the company
- Technical Proficiency: Strong Excel skills, experience working in PowerPlan and SAP, and proficiency with Power BI
