About the Role:The Account Supervisor is responsible for project delivery, following the process and supervising the team from project initiation to delivery. Account Supervisors must be proactive in running initiatives while still being a team player and supporting the account team with delivering on client expectations. Account Supervisors will focus on developing their strategic planning skills by assisting Account Directors or Senior Account Directors in developing new strategies and initiatives based on client needs. Occasional project-related travel may be required.
What You'll Do - Oversee the team in managing ongoing project progress, content and client priorities and know where projects are at all times.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality of medical education programs and materials, on time and on budget, while managing and ensuring quality of our services to Clients (attention to detail, updated status and budget reports, organized communication, responsiveness)
- Support the Account Director in developing the strategies for each therapeutic portfolio, and ensure all projects link back to strategy
- Review project briefs and develop strategy and creative briefs as required
- Coordinate efforts of the projects between medical writing, creative, clients, programmers etc. and manage/adjust priorities in partnership with the Account Director
- Support the Account Director in managing day-to-day on accounts, ensuring a positive relationship with clients and prepare proposals for new business or new ideas
- Ensure financial follow-up and billing requests internally (including budgets recaps and flagging overages to Account Directors in a timely fashion)
- Assist Account Directors in delivering strategic consulting for client growth and further developing the Agency's offering and client base
- Guide and oversee the growth and development of Account Managers and Senior Account Mangers as appropriate
What You'll Need - 4+ years related pharmaceutical/healthcare experience from agency, marketing and/or medical education account management experience
- Knowledge of healthcare and pharmaceutical practices
- Working knowledge of various medical communication formats (print, digital, live events)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong strategic potential and interest
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively
- Proactive, can-do attitude to finding solutions.
- Self-motivation, willingness to stay up to date in a fast-paced environment, engagement, and persistence.
- Ability to listen, learn and add value
- For Canadian Accounts: Experience with best practices for medical communications (Health Canada, IMC) and awareness of PAAB and ASC standards
- Experience in building estimates and managing project profitability, financial management
- Ability to work independently and to take ownership while being a team player and mindful of others (partnership attitude)
- Meticulous attention to detail and a service attitude

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.

$65,000 - $115,000 CAD
