As an Account Manager, you'll have the opportunity to build relationships, close deals, and grow our market share across Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, Baltimore, and Annapolis. You'll start with a focus on service-based sales, with opportunities to expand your responsibilities and earning potential based on your performance.

What You'll Do
  • Drive Sales Growth: Sell maintenance agreements and repair contracts to commercial clients while identifying opportunities for new business.
  • Build Your Territory: Prospect, develop, and maintain a strong sales pipeline using regional marketing strategies and industry relationships.
  • Own the Sales Process: Qualify leads, schedule meetings, develop proposals, estimate projects, and close profitable deals.
  • Develop Lasting Relationships: Build strong, ongoing partnerships with general contractors, facility managers, building owners, and commercial clients.
  • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with marketing and operations teams to promote the Delaware Elevator brand and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Manage Your Business: Maintain accurate sales data and activity in CRM platforms and prepare monthly sales reports.
  • Know Your Market: Stay informed on regional construction projects, market trends, and opportunities for growth.
  • Represent the Brand: Serve as a professional, knowledgeable, and trusted representative of Delaware Elevator.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of sales experience in commercial construction or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and prioritize opportunities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the elevator industry, commercial building systems, or a related technical field.
  • Mechanical or electrical aptitude.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Willingness to complete technical training within the first 6 months.
