Responsibilities

Travel to customers in Portland, Eastern Washington, and Southern Oregon
Ensure readiness for overnight travel when necessary

Do you enjoy talking with people and making things happen? Do you want to spend your time with customers instead of in a cubicle or lab? Do you want to start or further your career in sales with a successful company? We are hiring an outside sales representative to cover our Seattle based sales territory. While the territory is geographically large, the majority of your time will be spent in the Seattle. You will also visit Portland 2-3 days per month and visit Eastern Washington or Southern Oregon every 6-8 weeks.
Primary responsibility is to promote the sale of our products within assigned territory in order to achieve sales goals.
Although we have an extensive established customer base in this territory, both serving existing customers and finding new customers is an essential part of this position.
Demonstrate products to end user customers in their laboratories and virtually.
Distribute literature to customers and potential customers.
Maintain and grow customer list in CRM.
Live within 30 minutes of Seattle.
25% overnight travel is required.
What sets you apart
Bachelor's degree - preferably in the life sciences, lab experience is a plus.
Three or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Interest / aptitude to sell products to life science researchers.
Customer Service Attitude - desire to go the extra mile for the customer.
Self-motivated - strong desire to succeed is essential.
Valid driver's license required and good driving record.
What we offer
Expected total compensation of $80,000 - $95,000 includes salary and commission.
