As an Account Manager at Uber Eats, you aren't just managing a portfolio-you are the primary growth engine for a book of high-value Small-to-Medium and Mid-Market businesses.

This role is for the relentless problem-solver who is hungry to make a tangible impact on the bottom line of our partners and Uber alike. You will navigate the messy, fast-paced reality of post-sales engagement, turning high-potential merchants into long-term strategic partners. This position is based in New York, NY or Boston, MA and follows a hybrid work schedule, with employees in the office Tuesday-Thursday.

What You'll Do

  • Navigate and grow a high-value portfolio of SMB and Mid-Market restaurant partners, taking full ownership of their lifecycle from onboarding to long-term profitability.
  • Build and maintain proactive communication channels with merchant partners via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings to earn trust fast and solve problems without a script.
  • Identify and unlock new revenue streams through product adoption, location expansion, and upselling marketing solutions like ads and promotions.
  • Lead through influence by partnering with Operations and Sales teams to resolve complex merchant pain points and unblock growth barriers.
  • Track and analyze merchant KPIs and OKRs to conduct regular business reviews, turning raw commercial data into actionable growth strategies.
  • Minimize risk by identifying and diligently resolving partnership threats to ensure 100% account retention.
  • Standardize best practices within your territory, helping to help write the playbook for merchant success at scale.
  • Champion the brand as an ambassador of Uber Eats' mission, ensuring partners leverage the full potential of our digital-to-real-world platform.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, account management, or operations where you held full responsibility for hitting specific growth targets.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience using data (Excel/Google Sheets) to build a business case and drive decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Grit and Persistence: A proven willingness to "roll up your sleeves" and get in the weeds to hit quarterly revenue and retention targets.
  • Systems Thinking: Ability to analyze restaurant needs strategically to unlock creative solutions for complex problems.
  • Adaptability: Comfort with ambiguity and a track record of thriving in autonomous, evolving team environments.
  • Data Storytelling: Proficiency in taking commercial data and making it digestible and compelling for merchant partners.
  • Relationship Mastery: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to probe for objections and eliminate barriers to gain commitment.
