Account Manager - San Francisco Bay AreaTriumvirate Environmental is seeking a relationship-driven Account Manager to support and grow a portfolio of clients throughout the
San Francisco Bay Area, with a primary focus on San Francisco and surrounding areas. This role is primarily client-facing, with most of your time spent visiting and partnering with customers on-site. The position is supported out of our San Leandro, CA office, which you will visit periodically for internal meetings, collaboration, and training.
This is a consultative sales role focused on expanding existing accounts, growing revenue within your territory, and building long-term client partnerships. You will own key client relationships, identify and close expansion opportunities, and deliver solutions that support complex environmental compliance needs. Responsibilities:- Manage and grow a book of business by building strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, and driving retention.
- Drive revenue by selling environmental waste management, disposal, and other services to new and existing clients, including cross-selling and repeat business.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, coordinating routine services, aligning on project scope, and ensuring successful delivery.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, prospecting, and relationship-building within client organizations.
- Lead the sales process from qualification through proposal development, applying consultative selling techniques (including Sandler methodology).
- Support client compliance needs by assisting with key projects and delivering tailored solutions.
- Ensure smooth financial operations by securing purchase orders and assisting with the collection of outstanding invoices.
- Monitor industry trends, market changes, and competitor activity to inform strategy and continuous improvement.
- Support service recovery efforts by resolving issues, improving processes, and preventing recurrence.
- Deliver a high-quality customer experience, including occasional client entertainment and engagement.
- Travel throughout the San Francisco Bay Area to meet with clients while working out of the San Leandro office.
Basic Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in environmental services, facilities management, or a related industry, with prior sales experience.
- Proven track record of selling to clients in healthcare, higher education, life sciences, or industrial sectors.
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to attend client meetings, networking events, and occasional outings as needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regular travel to clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:- Prior experience with Triumvirate Environmental is preferred; experience in a related industry will also be considered.
- Formal sales training (e.g., Sandler or similar consultative sales methodologies).

Actual starting base pay may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, location and budget.
