About the role:

We are currently looking for an Account Manager 6 Oil & Gas Pressure Control to support customers across the Northeast, including Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. This position is responsible for selling the full portfolio of SPM Oil & Gas products and services, with a primary focus on growing Pressure Control Solutions. The Account Manager will develop and expand relationships with exploration and production companies, pressure pumpers, and other completions stakeholders; identify customer needs; and convert those needs into service-led solutions that improve uptime, execution efficiency, and total cost of ownership. Success in this role requires strong knowledge of Northeast completions activity, an established network of customer relationships, and the ability to grow market share and recurring services revenue

What you will do:

  • Develop and execute account plans that grow Pressure Control products, rentals, field services, repair, maintenance, and other recurring service opportunities.
  • Own the commercial relationship with assigned customers, including opportunity identification, engagement strategies, proposals, quotations, negotiations, and follow-through.
  • Lead with Pressure Control Solutions while identifying and cross-selling the broader SPM Oil & Gas product and service portfolio based on customer needs.
  • Build relationships across customer organizations, with particular focus on completions, operations, engineering, supply chain, and field leadership.
  • Partner with service centers, operations, product teams, and other internal business partners to develop solutions, ensure execution readiness, and deliver on customer commitments.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of near-term and strategic opportunities, including pad schedules, fleet activity, RFQ timing, incumbent providers, competitive position, and next actions.
  • Develop tender and proposal strategies that clearly communicate SPM value through service quality, responsiveness, reliability, uptime, efficiency, and total cost of ownership.
  • Work directly with customers before, during, and after job execution to gather feedback, resolve issues, identify additional needs, and create follow-on service opportunities.
  • Coordinate commercial and operational handoffs so rates, scope, mobilization timing, equipment availability, service expectations, and potential delays are communicated clearly.
  • Represent SPM Oil & Gas in customer meetings, industry events, and regional networking opportunities to strengthen market visibility and develop new business.

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Negotiating: Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.

Account Management: Knowledge of account management; ability to manage day-to-day activities, providing services and support to existing clients.

Value Selling: Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.

Top Candidates will have:

  • Strong Pressure Control equipment and services knowledge, including frac stacks/trees, zipper manifolds, flow iron, large-bore systems, missiles, valves, and related field service requirements.
  • Significant completions industry experience in the Northeast, particularly Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia, with an established network of customer relationships.
  • Demonstrated success selling service-based solutions and recurring field services, not only transactional equipment or product sales.
  • Existing relationships with completions, operations, engineering, supply chain, and pressure pumping stakeholders across the Appalachian Basin.
  • Ability to lead with Pressure Control Solutions while effectively identifying and developing opportunities across the full SPM Oil & Gas portfolio.
  • A track record of translating customer relationships and market knowledge into qualified opportunities, successful proposals, and sustainable revenue growth

Summary Pay Range:

$128,470.00 - $192,710.00
