Position Summary

The primary responsibility of the Account Manager is to efficiently oversee and lead a designated portfolio of larger accounts. This entails actively managing client relationships, addressing their unique needs, and ensuring their satisfaction through personalized attention and tailored solutions. The Account Manager is also responsible for serial production growth as well as customer forecasting. By effectively coordinating internal resources and employing exceptional customer service skills, the Account Manager plays a vital role in nurturing these accounts and fostering long-term partnerships.

This role will be based out of the White Bear Lake, MN office, but require traveling to customer sites. Domestic and international travel could be up to 20%.

What You'll Do Every Day:
  • Work collaboratively with Strategic Accounts, Operations, Customer Support, and Portfolio Management to guide fulfillment activity on behalf of customers. Ensure client projects meets or exceeds customer timing expectations. Accountable for bridging the gap between customer requirements and optimization requests during the production phase.
  • Responsible for maintaining customer relationships by leveraging those connections to sustain and expand the business. This involves providing exceptional customer service and responsiveness to ensure satisfaction.
  • Take ownership of quoting and proposals and cooperating with internal stakeholder to execute those according to targets. Ensure timely communication with the customer regarding quote status and delivery, meeting internal quote turnaround targets.
  • Lead issue resolution for the customer. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve account matters by working with Customer Support, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Purchasing to understand root causes & resolve. Solve practical problems & deal with a variety of changing situations daily.
  • Attend and occasionally lead project meetings and identify action items for internal and external customer teams.
  • Ensure all customer questions and concerns are responded to promptly in alignment with commercial initiatives and the company mission.
  • Execute and manage product exits and transfers for customers where needed. Proficiently complete and oversee product exits and transfers for customers, ensuring smooth and efficient transitions and relocations of products.
  • Guide margin reviews and analyze forecast trends and sales patterns to project site revenue.
  • Demonstrate ownership of assigned accounts through displaying a deep understanding of the topics, including order status, product information, account status, and product & service pricing, with a willingness to engage in critical thinking and openness to challenge and validate knowledge as necessary.
  • Manage S&OP, Rolling Forecast (RFC), and budget planning for various accounts.
  • Train coworkers on procedures and processes, may need to establish and edit existing methods. Willing and able to informally coach and mentor Account Specialists.
  • Other duties may be assigned as required.


What We're Looking For:

  • Possess excellent leadership and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with ERP systems, Salesforce, and working knowledge of CRM. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required.
  • Demonstrated skill in providing highly professional customer service and account-facing support, including frequent customer interaction, proactive issue resolution, and prompt follow-up on inquiries, quotes, and related matters.
  • Displays exceptional problem-solving skills by proactively anticipating and developing viable solutions for highly complex issues.
  • Exhibits unwavering focus on detail and possess the capacity to make rapid yet impactful decisions that may significantly influence both the organization and customer outcomes.
  • Requires a flexible and willing attitude towards travel, with the ability to undertake domestic and international trips of up to 20% of the time.


Medevio is committed to providing competitive total compensation and benefits packages. The expected hiring range for this position is between $94,000 and $107,000 based upon a full-time schedule. This is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. Base salaries are determined by taking a variety of factors in account, including, but not limited to, candidate qualifications, geographic locations, market conditions and internal equity. This position is bonus eligible, with a target bonus of 10%. Our total compensation package includes eligibility for comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with company match, education reimbursement, paid parental leave and paid time off.
