Account Manager at Emergent Media

The Role
Emergent Media is looking for a self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented team member with a passion for content and digital + social media. The Senior Account Manager will have an understanding of digital & social media campaigns and project management. This is a full-time role with a hybrid work schedule based in our El Segundo, CA headquarters.
Responsibilities
- The Account Manager is a key-player in supporting the Sales team with RFP pitches, maintains client relationships, and executes digital media campaigns.
- Assist with day-to-day client requests and projects with a strong sense of urgency.
- Participate in client meetings & presentation prep work.
- Responsibilities may include campaign reporting and screenshots, project management internally and externally, and assisting with deck building.
- Effectively communicate, author presentations, kick-off call and recap decks, and help demonstrate value of Emergent to partners.
- Knowledge of agency processes allowing for support and creation of media plans, agency/client facing templates.
- Alongside the Director of Account Management and Sales, act as a trusted consultant for your partners by recommending and putting together proposals that meet their marketing objectives and needs.
- Ability to work cross functionally with departments and key stakeholders internally and externally.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines, while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Act as an expert in the travel, home, and overall digital media space by staying current with industry trends.
- Ability to think creatively and analytically. This role must complete reporting in client specific templates for each campaign and be able to communicate results to the client, as well as optimization recommendations.
- Lead project management for custom video content projects in partnership with the production team, including building production timelines and overseeing the tracking of all deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- 2-5 years of digital media experience
- Previous production or agency experience is preferred
- Excellent written, presentation and oral communication skills
- Ability to listen, adapt, and think quickly on your feet
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with Google Suite - Slides, Docs, Sheets, etc
- Ability to learn operating tools quickly with training (Salesforce, Asana, Google Analytics, etc.)
