Role Summary
As an Account Executive - US Market, you will own the full sales cycle for a defined territory of automotive
dealerships, from prospecting and in-person demos through to closed-won and handoff to onboarding. This is a
field-first, quota-carrying role: you will spend the majority of your time visiting dealerships face-to-face, building
relationships with dealer principals and general managers, and closing new business for Studio AI and Vini AI.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and manage a defined US territory of automotive dealerships, building a healthy pipeline through
prospecting, referrals, and inbound leads.
• Work against monthly quota targets, consistently tracking progress and course-correcting to hit assigned numbers.
• Conduct in-person visits and on-site product demonstrations at dealerships to educate dealer principals, GMs, and
marketing managers on Studio AI and Vini AI.
• Run the full sales cycle end-to-end: discovery, needs analysis, proposal, negotiation, and contract closure.
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly new-business revenue targets (CARR/ARR).
• Plan and execute weekly territory travel schedules to maximize face-to-face dealership coverage.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date pipeline, activity, and forecast data in the CRM (HubSpot).
• Partner with onboarding and customer success teams to ensure a smooth handoff and strong early customer
experience post-close.
• Represent Spyne at regional auto industry events, dealer association meetings, and trade shows as needed.
• Stay current on dealership pain points, competitive tools, and industry trends (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds,
DealerTrack, VinSolutions, Xtime) to sharpen positioning.
What We're Looking For
• 2-5+ years of quota-carrying field or outside sales experience, ideally in SaaS, automotive, or
dealership-facing technology.
• Demonstrated track record of consistently hitting or exceeding sales targets.
• Comfort with a field-heavy role: significant local/regional driving and overnight travel as required.
• Strong in-person presentation and relationship-building skills; confident presenting to dealer principals and GMs.
• Working knowledge of, or strong aptitude to quickly learn, dealership operations, CRM/DMS systems, and the
automotive retail sales cycle.
• Self-starter who can independently plan territory coverage and manage a full pipeline with minimal oversight.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; plain, clear, consultative selling style.
• Valid US driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and ability to travel within assigned territory (mileage/travel
reimbursed per company policy).
• Experience with HubSpot or a comparable CRM is a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Physical & Work Requirements
• Ability to travel by car (and occasionally by air) throughout an assigned US territory on a regular, recurring basis.
• Ability to conduct in-person, on-site demonstrations at dealership locations, including standing/walking dealership
lots as needed.
