Join our dynamic team at Yardi as an Account Executive - SMB. As a key contributor, you will have a unique opportunity to drive sales success by showcasing the game-changing capabilities of Multifamily, Commercial, Social/Affordable Housing, Condo, and other innovative Yardi workspace management solutions. In this role, you will navigate full sales cycles, from lead generation to deal closure, while consistently surpassing individual sales goals. Take part in impactful marketing events and keep your skills sharp through regular product certifications.
What You'll Do:
Develop and utilize knowledge of Yardi products, industry, and competition to present value propositions to prospects and/or clients, develop a sufficient pipeline, and meet individual sales goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects in your assigned territory while actively representing Yardi at relevant marketing events.
Prepare accurate performance reports and continuously develop product expertise and industry best-practice knowledge to support informed, consultative selling.
Utilize internal CRM diligently, recording all client and/or prospect activities, sales opportunities, and forecasts per training guidelines.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three plus (3+) years of successful sales experience in the technology or software industry
- Solid understanding of sales cycle management principles, including lead generation; discovery and qualification; pricing, packaging, and positioning; proposal development; contract negotiation; and closure
- Experience using Client Relationship Management (CRM) tools to track and manage prospect and client activity
- Goal oriented and self-motivated
- Excellent interpersonal skills and negotiation skills
- Proactive with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to build relationships and interface with decision makers at mid-sized companies
- Excellent presentation and demonstration skills
- Ability to understand and demonstrate technical products
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- High responsiveness with client-centered commitment and focus
- Ability to meet critical deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to travel up to 25%

- Industry experience in property management
- Knowledge of accounting principles

$ 80,000-$85,000 CAD + commission target
