Full Job Description
THE ROLE

As an Account Executive, your responsibilities will expand to include territory management. As a territory owner, you will consider the long-term sustainability of your outreach, expand client relationships, execute post-sale follow-ups, manage pilot implementations, and more as you strategically maximize long-term revenue potential. You will earn a commission on won new business deals in your territory, which include client expansions in their first renewal year.

In a typical day, you can expect to do things like:
• Maintain your pipeline; following up with current opportunities (including calling) and keeping updated notes and clean deal data.
• Attend conferences and trade shows within your territory which may include coordinating logistics, marketing materials, and booth set-up.
• Lead demo calls with school and district administration teams.
• Own and facilitate pilot implementations within your territory.
• Create proposals and pricing explanations with customers that are ready to purchase.
• Set up targeted outreach campaigns, leveraging our various data sources and strategic focus.
• Collaborate with members of our Account Management team to create new sales opportunities and staying up to date with constant product improvements from our Product teams.
• Improve sales assets such as pricing explainers, course catalogs, efficacy research briefs, etc.

BENEFITS
Competitive compensation. We observe the same pay bands, regardless of where you live. For this role, our starting salary is $75,000+, plus commissions.
Health, dental, and vision insurance. We contribute 90% of the cost for our various medical insurance options and 90% for vision and dental. We contribute 50% for dependents.
Paid parental leave. Parents are eligible for up to twelve (12) weeks of fully paid parental leave after a year of service.
A 401k plan. Save for retirement with a fully managed plan and a 1% match.
Commuter benefit. Use pre-tax earnings on your commute through our managed platform.
One Medical. We cover enrollment in One Medical to provide all employees with convenient access to primary care.
Flexible Spending Account and Dependent FSA. Set aside pre-tax dollars for eligible medical expenses and the costs of caring for dependents.
Flexible, guilt-free vacation. Take guilt-free vacations with no hard limit. Most people take 3-4 weeks per year and are encouraged to take time off. This is not a vague policy where "unlimited" ends up meaning "hardly ever, it's too stressful to ask for time off". We actively encourage everyone to take off.
Half-day Fridays. We value work-life balance and observe half-day Fridays every week.

LOCATION

We are a remote-first company. We are accepting applications from people who live and work in the following states:

Experience. 1+ years experience in sales or account management in a comparable role preferred, and a minimum of two years of teaching experience with strong examples of ed-tech integration.
Alignment. You want to be an evangelist and bring Albert to as many students as possible through sales. Ideally, you have used Albert in your own classroom and can share specific experiences around it.
Exceptional communication skills. You are a good listener, articulate, and highly persuasive; you skillfully leverage data from multiple sources and use context to create compelling narratives.
Composure under pressure. You do not get rattled easily and can quickly adapt; you can focus and prioritize in stressful situations.
Relentlessness. You challenge yourself with ambitious goals and draw upon your high level of grit to achieve long-term success.
Attention to detail and discipline. You pride yourself on maintaining good habits and getting the little things right.
A great teammate. You are excited to support your teammates, assume best-intent, and push the team to succeed together.
