You are Green Irony's first Account Executive on the ground in San Francisco. The seat exists because the Salesforce and MuleSoft field org is there: we want someone in the room with it, not flying in. This is Green Irony planting its flag on the West Coast. New seat, not a replacement.
What you sellTwo books, one seller.
The platform book. Salesforce implementation across the clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Revenue, Field Service, Agentforce) plus MuleSoft integration and the AI work that sits on top of it. Not a single-SKU pitch.
The AI-native book. Green Irony runs its own company on Claude and Notion. That operating model is itself an offering, and you carry it: AI-native consulting for mid-market companies that need help actually doing what everyone is talking about. This book is early and growing, and the seat grows with it.
The channelMuleSoft Account Executives are the primary channel. Green Irony is a MuleSoft partner first, and MuleSoft AE co-sell is where most deal flow originates.
Salesforce Account Executives (SMB/GRB) are the expansion channel, particularly for Salesforce-native and Agentforce attach.
Regional Vice Presidents matter across both ecosystems.
What the job actually isNobody hands you a built book, but warm doors exist: Salesforce partner since 2016, MuleSoft since 2018, and we introduce you to the field AEs we already work with. From there it's yours to grow.
The reps you don't know yet are the job. The territory is a finite, known list of reps, and the deals come from being the partner they think of first.
A whole territory, not a slice. It isn't shared, and it doesn't get carved up when you grow it. Everything you build in San Francisco stays yours.
Deals that move: a blended deal size of roughly $46K on a 30-45 day cycle, with a growing share landing between $60K and $100K and expansion potential on each one.
Non-negotiables- 2+ years selling in the MuleSoft/Salesforce ecosystem. MuleSoft ecosystem experience strongly preferred; broader Salesforce ecosystem experience (Salesforce AE, partner-side AE) is a secondary path. Tenure is a floor, not the screen - relationships in hand and hunter evidence are the screen.
- Bay Area Salesforce/MuleSoft field-org relationships in hand, and the instinct to build more. You know how to build relationships such that the AEs think of you first when their client needs an implementor.
- Hunter, not lead-fed. If your first question is what pipeline we'll generate for you, this isn't your seat.
- Conviction in AI-native delivery. Green Irony sells a compressed delivery model: weeks of traditional MuleSoft and Salesforce work shipped in days. That's our moat, and every AE conversation either reinforces it or dilutes it. You believe the model works, not because we told you, but because you already run your own workflows AI-first and you've seen what the technology does to traditional work.
- The Tower. You're within easy reach of the Salesforce Tower and you want to be in it constantly, building relationships face to face. If being in that building several days a week sounds like a cost rather than the point, this isn't your seat.
What you get behind youA senior US delivery team that holds a premium price and actually ships. A direct line to the CEO: no layers, no panel, same-day. A world-class sales coach, Alice Heiman, of Miller Heiman, committed to your success.
Disqualifiers- Views AI as a productivity aid, a buzzword, or a marketing wrapper rather than the competitive advantage that drives every deal conversation.
- Waiting to inherit pipeline.
- Needs a heavy management cadence. You report directly to the CEO, who is busy and will not babysit.
Your first 30 days- Announce the role to your entire network and set appointments to share the news.
- Study and understand Green Irony's business.
- Get introductions through existing relationships and leverage them for more.
- Learn the tools that accelerate your success.
What you do in the first two weeks tells us both whether this fits.
