Account Executive - Outside Sales

San Francisco Metro Area (Emeryville-based territory)
Base Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 + Commission

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a driven Account Executive to join a growing sales team in the San Francisco market. This is a high-priority, high-impact role focused on expanding market presence, developing new business, and building long-term customer relationships.

This position is ideal for a true hunter-someone who thrives in prospecting, generating leads, opening doors, and managing a sales pipeline from initial outreach through close.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow business within the San Francisco territory
  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and market research
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  • Conduct client meetings to understand operational needs and identify tailored solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, engineering, and service teams to support customer needs
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM documentation
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas and performance targets
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of outside sales / business development experience
  • Proven success in new business development and prospecting
  • Strong hunter mentality with confidence in generating leads and securing appointments
  • Experience working in a quota-driven sales environment
  • Ability to speak to performance metrics, sales achievements, and pipeline management

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling technical, infrastructure, telecommunications, wireless, or related solutions
  • Exposure to industries supporting utilities, field operations, engineering, service teams, or distribution operations
  • Ability to understand how operational teams connect with customer IT and technology environments
  • Experience with Land Mobile Radio (LMR) solutions is a plus, but not required
