Full Job Description
We're seeking an Account Executive II, to join our Construction & Infrastructure (C&I) in Dallas. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside some of the most experienced and respected Insurance Professionals in the industry. Our team specializes in managing complex indemnity structures, handling high-volume transaction activity, and delivering sophisticated risk analysis for clients operating at the highest levels of the construction sector.

This hybrid role (2-3 days onsite weekly) from a local Aon office. We are considering applicants in Dallas.

What the day will look like
  • Manage activities and personnel to achieve the targeted revenue and margin growth for the Region.
  • Achieve the targeted % lift on all fee-based revenue in aggregate in the Region.
  • Identify new client opportunities with annual revenue of more than $30,000.
  • Initiate or participate in at least six new business opportunities annually and assist other colleagues to achieve the overall regional goals.
  • Manage all client engagements to produce at least a 65% contribution margin relative to Surety deliverables.
  • Consistently expand knowledge base through company offered training and external relevant programs.


Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Property & Casualty insurance, with a strong preference for expertise in Construction Surety Bonds.
  • Manage all client activities necessary to achieve revenue objectives for your office/region.
  • Contribute and participate in marketplace positioning with carriers, clients, and prospect accounts.
  • Participate in all Surety and CSG sales and client review meetings in order to deliver the full firm and sustain deep client relations.
  • 100% utilization of Aon Time Tracking and other compliance guidelines.
  • Mentor Advisory and Fulfillment staff to optimize skill set and satisfy career goals.
  • Maintain proper licensing.
  • Participate in company development programs as nominated, and seek opportunities for participation by appropriate, qualified individuals.
  • Actively participate in industry associations and organizations to promote company objectives and marketplace awareness.


Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
  • Must have the willingness to obtain an active Property and Casualty license within four months of hire (90 days)

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $116,200 to $151,100 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
