We're looking for an ambitious and driven Account Executive - Healthcare & Life Sciencesto identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities across Life Sciences and Healthcare.This is a consultative SaaS sales role for someone who thrives on navigating complex buying processes, building relationships with senior stakeholders, and delivering solutions that help organisations address regulatory, quality, and compliance challenges. Joining Ideagen means becoming part of a high-growth global software business where your success directly impacts our continued expansion.You'll be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, and helping organisations discover how Ideagen's solutions can support their critical business objectives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced, supportive sales environment, selling solutions that genuinely make a difference across Pharma, Biotech, Healthcare, CRO, and Academic organisations. Responsibilities
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities across Life Sciences and Healthcare markets
  • Prospecting and winning new logos within Pharma, Biotech, CROs and Healthcare organisations
  • Building and maintaining a healthy pipeline of qualified sales opportunities
  • Owning the full sales cycle from initial outreach through to contract signature
  • Leading consultative sales conversations with senior decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Applying MEDDPICC sales methodology to effectively qualify and progress opportunities
  • Delivering engaging product demonstrations and presentations to prospective customers
  • Collaborating with Pre-Sales and Product Specialists to create compelling customer solutions
  • Understanding customer challenges and aligning Ideagen solutions to their regulatory, quality, and compliance requirements
  • Consistently working towards and exceeding sales targets and revenue objectives
Skills and Experience

You're a motivated and commercially minded sales professional who enjoys the challenge of winning new business and building long-term customer relationships. You are confident engaging with senior stakeholders, understand consultative selling techniques, and thrive in a target-driven environment.

  • You have experience selling enterprise software or SaaS solutions
  • You have a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas
  • You are highly consultative in your sales approach and focus on understanding customer needs
  • You are confident managing complex and often lengthy sales cycles
  • You build credibility quickly and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • You are resilient, self-motivated, and driven by achieving results
  • You are comfortable working independently while collaborating with wider commercial teams
  • You take ownership of your pipeline and proactively create new business opportunities

Desirable:

  • Experience selling into Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Healthcare, CRO or Academia sectors
  • Knowledge of regulatory, quality, compliance, or risk management environments
  • Experience using MEDDPICC or similar enterprise sales methodologies
  • Previous experience within a high-growth SaaS organisation
