Position Summary:

The Enterprise Account Executive (EAE) is responsible for acquiring enterprise 3P marketplace clients through a strategic, consultative sales approach. This role is responsible for generating net-new revenue while also expanding existing accounts through upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Partnering with internal stakeholders, the EAE leverages strong business acumen and executive presence to position and prescribe SPS Commerce solutions that deliver measurable value to enterprise clients.
This is a quota-carrying, direct sales role within a defined territory.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and acquire new enterprise clients through outbound strategies including email, networking, and strategic outreach
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of large, complex opportunities
  • Develop executive-level relationships using a consultative, value-based sales approach
  • Clearly articulate and align SPS Commerce Full-Service solutions to customer business objectives
  • Own and orchestrate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from prospecting through close
  • Partner cross-functionally to develop and present tailored, high-impact solutions
  • Deliver compelling executive presentations that drive decision-making
  • Identify trends and share insights with Product, Channel, and Customer Support teams
  • Drive expansion within existing accounts through upsell and cross-sell opportunities


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in a quota-carrying role OR post-secondary education with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven success managing complex enterprise sales cycles
  • Strong track record of achieving or exceeding quota
  • Ability to navigate executive stakeholders and long sales cycles
  • Excellent strategic thinking, organization, and communication skills
  • Experience translating technical solutions into business value


Preferred Qualifications
  • SaaS and/or E-commerce experience
  • CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce)

Location:

This role follows a hybrid work model, with regular in-office presence required at our Toronto, ON office.

The total annualized on-target compensation for this role is: $200,000 (base + commission).
