Full Job Description
What you'll do

As an Enterprise Account Executiveyou'll grow, retain, and win new enterprise business in Canada. You'll own a portfolio of existing customers while identifying and developing new-logo opportunities. You'll set and execute long-term account and territory strategies, build relationships with senior customer and internal stakeholders, and partner with product and technical teams to align on business and technical requirements. You'll build value in competitive situations, lead commercial negotiations, and close new business, expansion, and renewal deals.
Responsibilities
  • Work with existing Stripe customers to develop and execute long-term sales strategies that expand Stripe revenue.
  • Prospect, qualify, and develop new-logo opportunities across your territory, building a pipeline of enterprise prospects in Canada.
  • Own the full sales cycle for new business and expansion opportunities, from business-case development through deal structuring, negotiation, and close.
  • Develop account plans and cross-sell into a portfolio of strategic customers, driving growth through expansion and new revenue streams.
  • Set deal strategy and lead commercial negotiations for large, complex renewals.
  • Build relationships with executive stakeholders across your book of business. Understand the problems they are solving, and help identify the right solutions.
  • Map accounts and coordinate meetings with the right external stakeholders to deepen and expand customer relationships.
  • Lead and contribute to team projects that improve the sales process and shape Stripe's sales culture.

Minimum requirements
  • 15+ years of sales experience, preferably selling a technical product, with a track record of top performance
  • 10+ years leading complex sales cycles with Enterprise organizations required
  • Ability to understand technical requirements and craft solutions across multiple products
  • Ability to develop and execute account plans spanning multiple business units across complex organizations
  • A knack for working well with a wide range of people, both internally and externally
  • Strong presentation skills, particularly for in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
  • Strong interest in technology and a deep understanding of the space
  • Payments experience is a plus!
