Account Executive to join our
Employee Benefits team in our
Melville, NY office on a Hybrid work schedule.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account Executive to join FNA, our Employee Benefits Wholesale Division. This individual will develop, manage, and expand relationships with Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs), internal sales teams, and PEO partners. The ideal candidate possesses strong relationship-management, negotiation, communication, and technical Employee Benefits skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned PEO clients, brokers, and carriers, supporting consistent and responsive service delivery.
- Lead or assist with the onboarding and renewal process for PEO-sponsored benefit programs, including quoting support, carrier coordination, and implementation assistance.
- Provide technical and consultative guidance regarding Employee Benefits products and strategies, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, voluntary benefits, and other ancillary programs.
- Support the management of client accounts involving multiple locations, industries, and benefit structures under the guidance of senior team members.
- Collaborate with internal underwriting, compliance, and sales teams to help develop competitive benefit solutions aligned with client needs.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with carrier partners and retail brokers to support program performance and client satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver client communications, renewal summaries, and stewardship materials in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay current on industry trends, compliance developments, and PEO market activity.
- Participate in team initiatives and support knowledge-sharing across the account management function.
Qualifications:- 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience
- 2-4 years of experience in Employee Benefits; experience with PEO accounts, wholesale brokerage or employee benefits MGA preferred.
- Understanding of PEO operating models, benefits administration, and the regulatory environment.
- Experience with benefits quoting tools, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a client-service orientation.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Life & Health Insurance License required

Apply today.The expected salary range for this position is $42.86/hr to $46.71/hr and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
