We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Account Director to join our Client Services team. The ideal candidate will have experience data and regulatory milestones and account management, with a strong ability to collaborate with team members and drive projects to completion.
Job Responsibilities- Serve as day-to-day counselor to clients, converting a deep understanding of their subject matter into strategy and tactics that meet their objectives
- Develop strategies that meet project objective and program goals
- Communicate superior attention to detail across team members and consistent delivery of work that meets or exceeds expectations
- Effectively manage account teams to ensure client goals are met and exceeded
- Guide agency growth and leadership through financial performance and mentorship of junior staff
- Effectively manage client budgets, projections and financial planning
- Develop client strategic plans and budgets in coordination with VPs and SVPs
- Responsible for nurturing client relationship and developing organic growth
- Lead client contact (initiate/lead meetings, provide counsel, trouble shooting)
- Develop roles and delegate responsibilities across account teams
- Manage client budgets, staff allocation and forecasting
- Keep senior team informed of any client, team or personnel issues
- Support pitch strategy, proposal and presentation with VPs and SVPs
- Identify and realize organic growth opportunities with existing clients
- Demonstrate strong management skills across agency and client responsibilities
Desired Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree
- 6-8 years of healthcare public relations/communications experience, preferably in an agency setting
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong experience in data and regulatory milestones
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience supporting communications for pharma and/or biotech clients, or similar high-science communications experience preferred
The anticipated salary range for this position will be $115,000-$135,000. Salary is based on job-related factors such as: years of relevant experience, qualifications and/or certifications. Spectrum reserves the right to modify this pay range at any given time.
