On the Bell Business Markets team, you'll be a vital part of making innovation happen for enterprise-scale customers. You'll deliver advanced solutions in areas such as IoT, Mobility/5G, Cloud, Cyber Security, Voice, Collaboration & Contact Centre and Internet & Private Networks.

Summary

As part of the pre-sales business development process, the Account Architect is responsible for define the future technology architecture of Enterprise customers and supporting customer-defined priority programs in the medium-term strategy. The primary responsibility is to ensure that the client's operational and IT strategies and objectives are fully reflected in Bell's IT portfolios. They act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them get the most out of their business solutions and achieve their business goals. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills and the ability to build long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acts as a leader and mobilizes customer team, in order to convert business needs into solutions and services offered Bell (IP Networks and Telecommunication, Security, Datacenter, and Cloud computing)
  • Accountable for the technological aspect of a solution, your mandate is to accompany customers in the development of complex solutions and ensure short- and long-term business relationships & customer satisfaction
  • Evaluate business needs and identify any stakes
  • Ensure feasibility analysis, including strategic/ technological plan)
  • Design and integration of potential solutions, including recommended solution specifications
  • Initiate Bell product verifications
  • Develop detailed equipment list (BoM) and write consultation report
  • Document the technical solution proposal including scope of work, visio diagrams and equipment list
  • Evaluate the current context of IT to spot potential business opportunities for Bell and recommend solutions that correspond to customers' medium-term strategies and IT program delivery priorities
  • Lead and assist in the establishment of architecture guidelines to facilitate decision-making pertaining to information, technology and related investments
  • Keep abreast of leading edge technology in the specific market/industry of your customers
  • Provide implementation technical support if the submitted solution is impacted
  • Provide submitted solution technical support for Bell internal teams


Critical Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 5 years + experience developing LAN/WAN/SASE/Wireless/Security/Cloud/Internet of Things (IoT), planning and implementation of information, technology and application architectures; experience in the analysis or strategic planning of activities
  • Knowledge of Cloud hosting solutions with the leading providers.
  • Relevant experience in the field of consulting services
  • Thorough knowledge of implementation and integration of business-oriented IT architecture and models, and the analysis of complex technical environments
  • Ability to work alongside a sales team with a view to developing solutions tailored to customers' needs
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. At ease negotiating to build partnerships with a network of stakeholders, both internal and external, and ability to act as a change agent
  • Ability to present to clients
  • Have 1 or more of the following certifications: Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Palto Alto, Aruba


Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
