POSITION: Academy Performance LeadLOCATION: Irvine, CARECRUITMENT RANGE: $70,500-$92,000Reporting to the Academy Manager, this role oversees the daily operations of the JLR Academy in Irvine, CA, ensuring a seamless, modern luxury training experience for all delegates. The position partners closely with JLRNA field teams, retailers, trainers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support training delivery, maximize enrollment and completion rates, maintain facility excellence, and continuously enhance the delegate experience.
What you will be doing:- Oversee all day-to-day Academy operations, including scheduling, room setup, delegate enrollment, shipping and receiving of training materials, building access, and food and beverage coordination.
- Manage Academy facilities by conducting routine inspections, identifying maintenance needs, and coordinating repairs to ensure a world-class training environment.
- Support West and Metro-Southern California field teams and retailer partners by communicating training targets, monitoring performance gaps, and providing weekly reporting and guidance.
- Coordinate training schedules and class enrollment activities to ensure optimal utilization of Academy resources and achievement of training objectives.
- Deliver an exceptional end-to-end delegate experience, including hotel and transportation recommendations, onsite support, and responsiveness to participant needs throughout their visit.
- Collaborate with Academy trainers, Market Area Managers, Customer Service, Sales, Product teams, and external partners to support training delivery and operational excellence.
- Analyze delegate feedback and training survey results, develop action plans, and implement continuous improvements to enhance satisfaction and training effectiveness.
What you will need:- 3-5 years of experience in automotive, OEM, retail, training, hospitality, or operations management environments.
- 2-3 years of experience supporting training programs, learning operations, or event coordination activities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience maintaining premium customer experiences and building collaborative relationships with internal and external partners.
Schedule: Hybrid Ways of Working (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - office days; Wednesday and Friday - choice days)
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized components, including location, skills, experience, and market factors.
