OverviewDeutsche Bank Securities, Inc. is seeking an Associate, within the Global Credit & Financing Solutions complex, in New York, NY. The individual will play an integral role in the Alternatives ABS business in the U.S. and will contribute to credit memo drafting, pitch book composition, database management, interaction with sales, syndicate and credit staff, support origination efforts and serve as an active participant on multiple deal teams withing the group. Alternatives ABS focusses on non-traditional ABS capital markets and lending activity within the ABS group. Asset classes of particular focus include, but are not limited to, telecommunication infrastructure (cell tower, data center, small cell/DAS, Spectrum), Solar and Renewable Energy, Hospitality, etc.
What You'll Do - Assist with management of the capital markets transactions and lending exposures in the Alternatives ABS business
- Coordinate regularly with more senior team members in the execution of new transactions (both capital markets and lending facilities) and work on ongoing portfolio maintenance for existing positions
- Help in drafting memos for credit, sales, syndicate, for lending commitments and new ABS transactions
- Assist in all aspects of transaction execution management from mandate to close on capital markets and well as lending transactions
- Communicate actively with internal constituencies regarding transaction/project management; help with preparation of internal reports for senior management, including development of online monitoring through bank's proprietary technology
- Stay informed of key trends related to asset classes covered by the team as well as client specific dynamics that could impact the business; and work on ad hoc projects as needed
Skills You'll Need - Bachelor's degree in finance, mathematics or related field; proven years of structured finance experience at an investment bank working in ABS
- Exceptional analytical, quantitative and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and detailed oriented
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and change priorities;
- Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrate ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
ExpectationsIt is the Bank's expectation that employees hired in this role will work in the New York, NY office.
The salary range for this position in New York City is $140,000 to $170,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
