As an operations consulting generalist at PwC, you will possess a broad understanding of various aspects of operations consulting. You will provide comprehensive guidance and support to clients in optimising operational efficiency and effectiveness. Working in this area, you will analyse client needs, develop operational solutions, and offer recommendations tailored to specific business requirements.

The Opportunity:

As a Government and Public Sector Operations, Senior Associate, unlock your potential and embrace the chance to drive meaningful outcomes that'll elevate your career. Your role will include, but isn't limited to:
  • Work with PwC professionals on high-profile engagements across business transformation design/execution, including program/project management and business case support.
  • Contribute to business architecture, operational readiness, performance frameworks, and service delivery model (SDM) design and options analysis.
  • Support program implementation, transition, service/program reviews, target operating model (TOM) design, and business process re-engineering for productivity and cost optimization.
  • Build strong client relationships by expanding industry and emerging technology knowledge, and sharing insights and PwC perspectives.
  • Identify and surface potential sales or business development opportunities to project leadership.
  • Engage in client interactions as a strategic advisor, leading/supporting workshops, interviews, facilitation, and data collection efforts.
  • Lead small to medium project tasks and teams, managing timelines, deliverables, delegation, and junior team support.
  • Proactively raise risks, issues, and mitigation strategies, while leveraging analytical tools and emerging techniques for problem-solving.
  • Conduct data analysis, research, and benchmarking to generate insights; develop recommendations, reports, and presentations while ensuring data quality and documentation.
  • Mentor junior team members, stay current on industry trends, support thought leadership and practice development, and contribute to business development and internal initiatives.

The salary range for this position is $84,700 - $134,700. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
