Full Job Description
The Automation Engineer will support automation initiatives within a GMP-regulated biologics pilot plant. This role involves hands-on automation system support, integration, maintenance, and continuous improvement efforts. The individual will also contribute to documentation aligned with SDLC and GMP compliance standards.
Automation Engineer Responsibilities:
- Provide automation system support and troubleshooting in a GMP environment
- Lead or support integration of new automation systems and devices
- Perform system maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements
- Contribute to SDLC processes, including documentation and SOP development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and compliance
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in industrial automation
- Strong experience with Ignition platforms
- Solid understanding of IT/OT integration
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming
- Experience working within GMP-regulated environments
- Proven ability in system and device integration
- Familiarity with PI Historian preferred
- Experience with DeltaV/Unicorn systems preferred

$65,000-$113,521 USD
