The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Functions as a new graduate nurse with less than one year of experience. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, continues to build competency in the provision of direct patient care. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services.

FT positions available. D/E/N, 8 and 12 hour shifts, every other weekend and holiday per unit policy.

New Graduates (Level 1) are eligible for the med/surg Residency Program. The residency program is designed to assist the novice graduate nurse to successfully transition to a competent professional nurse. Nurse must have less than one year prior experience in acute care and plan for a two year commitment upon program completion. Seeking new and exciting challenges? The 24-bed unit also offers the challenge of an 8-bed intermediate care unit for patients with more complex needs who require hemodynamic and neurological monitoring.
