Job Summary

The 3PL Manager – Premium Beauty & E‑Commerce  ensures that inventory is accurately managed and distributed in a compliant, timely, and efficient manner in support of a high‑end luxury cosmetics business. This role supports a fast‑paced e‑commerce operating model, with a high volume of small‑parcel B2C shipments alongside B2B customer fulfillment, where execution quality directly impacts brand perception and customer experience.

Primary areas of focus include monitoring, reporting, and improving 3PL performance through key operational metrics, service‑level governance, and strong supplier relationship management. The role works closely with 3PL leadership, operations teams, and internal cross‑functional partners to drive continuous improvement across distribution activities, including but not limited to dock‑to‑stock, inventory accuracy, order accuracy, returns processing, and OTIF performance.

The 3PL Manager – Premium Beauty & E‑Commerce collaborates with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Commercial, and Quality teams to identify scalable, sustainable process improvements that support business growth, seasonal demand fluctuations, and evolving customer expectations. This role ensures day‑to‑day execution aligns with luxury brand standards, customer service commitments, regulatory requirements, and the broader distribution strategy.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Distribution liaison to the 3PL partner, ensuring B2B and B2C customer requirements are clearly understood, consistently executed, and aligned with brand expectations.-25%

  • Monitor daily 3PL operational performance, systems, and reporting, maintaining close communication with 3PL teams to ensure high service levels, rapid issue resolution, and customer satisfaction. Proactively identify potential service disruptions (e.g., order backlogs, capacity constraints, carrier issues) and triage or escalating as appropriate.-25%

  • Lead regular business reviews with the 3PL, ensuring alignment to SLAs, KPIs, and volume forecasts. Analyze performance trends across small‑parcel fulfillment, order accuracy, cycle times, returns, and OTIF; identify gaps, risks, and continuous improvement opportunities.-5%

  • Responsible for the relationship with 3PL partners supporting the Lx business, including execution to the network strategy and adherence to contracts including rate structure, volume commitments, and service scope. Lead monthly cost reviews, provide clear visibility to stakeholders on trends and variances, and identify cost‑to‑serve optimization opportunities.-10%

  • Plan and project warehouse capacity and fulfillment need using demand forecasts, promotional calendars, seasonal peaks, and long‑term growth targets, ensuring the 3PL network can support rapid order fulfillment without compromising service or quality.-10%

  • Develop and present business cases for process, system, automation, and technology enhancements that improve speed, accuracy, scalability, and customer experience. Clearly articulate benefits, risks, investment requirements, and ROI to stakeholders at all levels.-5%

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through structured process reviews, root‑cause analysis, and collaboration with internal and external partners to reduce cost, improve service levels, increase productivity, and enhance quality across the distribution network.-5%

  • Ensure high inventory accuracy and control across the warehouse network through strong governance, cycle counting, reconciliation processes, KPI reporting, and compliance with regulatory and quality standards relevant to cosmetics and OTC products.-10%

  • Maintain oversight of critical warehouse processes, including receiving, put‑away, pick/pack operations, small‑parcel shipping execution, returns and reverse logistics, inventory tracking, and product traceability, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and luxury brand standards.-5%

Skills & Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, distribution, supply chain, or 3PL account management, with demonstrated responsibility for e‑commerce and/or small‑parcel fulfillment operations.

  • Strong understanding of cosmetics, OTC, or regulated consumer products distribution, including GDP, FEFO, lot control, product dating, and traceability requirements.

  • Demonstrated success serving as the primary operational liaison with external 3PL partners, including SLA management, KPI governance, and issue resolution.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data, identify trends, and translate insights into actions that improve order accuracy, speed to ship, and customer experience.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills; ability to work cross‑functionally and influence without direct authority.

Preferred

  • Direct experience supporting or managing a 3PL in an e‑commerce or omnichannel environment.

  • Familiarity with luxury, beauty, or premium consumer brands, where service quality, packaging, and delivery experience are critical.

  • Exposure to WMS, OMS, and parcel shipping systems; ability to partner on system enhancements and reporting improvements.

  • APICS / ASCM Certification in Supply Chain Management or other relevant professional designation.

About the Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is determined based on several factors. These include but are not limited to job accountabilities; skill sets; experience and training; certifications; work location; competitive market rates and other business needs. At Galderma, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a unique combination of factors for each role. A reasonable estimate of the hiring range for this role is $120,000 - $145,000.

In addition to base salary, we provide an opportunity to participate in a competitive commission plan. We offer a competitive and comprehensive benefits program including health insurance, 401(k) plan with employer match, a generous paid time off policy, hybrid work schedules and more.

The pay range displayed above is the range of base pay is the range of base pay compensation within Galderma expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting.
