Full Job Description
We're hiring recent university graduates to join our Associate cohort in New York, starting Summer 2027. This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with direct exposure to Private Equity investors and industry-leading executives.

At Orbit, you'll be trusted with real responsibility from day one. You'll take ownership of your work and have a genuine impact on our clients' success. Promotion is based on merit, not tenure - tenacity and initiative are rewarded. If you want to grow quickly in a role that values insight over Excel, apply now.
The role

As an Associate, you'll be responsible for delivering game-changing Senior Advisors to our Private Equity clients. Your work directly impacts our clients' ability to compete on landmark private equity deals across key economic sectors.

Your day-to-day will focus on:

Research - quickly and thoroughly understanding industry ecosystems to identify and map the key companies and executives relevant to a deal.

Communication - sourcing, interviewing and securing experienced C-level executives and thought leaders as advisors to our clients.

Client management - presenting research findings to our PE clients and recommending the most relevant advisors for maximum impact on a given deal process.
About you
  • A high-performance mindset, a desire to own your work, and a healthy dose of grit.
  • Someone who thrives on constructive feedback, is coachable, and is driven to grow.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
  • Detail-oriented, with a commitment to excellence.
  • Fluent in English, with the right to work in the US.

Prior (internship) experience in a commercial environment - such as consulting, executive search, recruitment, expert networks or sales - can help demonstrate your interest in the space, but it isn't essential.
What we offer in return
  • Competitive compensation - base salary of $77,500, plus bonus (first full-year OTE $100,000-$110,000).
  • Rapid career progression for strong performers - top Associates have been promoted to Senior Associate in as little as 9 months.
  • Exceptional exposure - the opportunity to learn directly from leading industry executives and senior PE professionals.
  • Meaningful impact on our clients and your team from day one.
  • Training and development - a clear roadmap for success, including internal and external training, targeted personal development support, a mentor programme, and coaching-based management.
  • Purpose and connection - team collaboration activities and regular, meaningful corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
  • Access to incentives - immediate access to uncapped bonus based on individual contribution, plus team and company incentives after 3 months.
  • Health and wellbeing - 18 paid days of holiday leave per year (increasing with tenure), competitive health, dental and vision insurance, plus access to a range of wellbeing benefits including funded gym memberships and online classes.
  • Hybrid working and premium office space - hybrid working up to 2 days per week post-probation, plus access to a fully serviced office in the heart of Midtown Manhattan.
